Sports Rehabilitation
No athlete, young or old, should have to push through pain.
Prevent further injury and enhance athletic performance.
Often, an athlete has reoccurring pain due their BIOMECHANICS. The body’s muscles need to work together in a precise manner to move the body efficiently, and without pain. Long term, inefficient BIOMECHANICS can cause chronic pain and can even lead to injury. Early diagnosis by a Postural Restoration therapist, along with the prescribed exercise regimen, can prevent pain and injury, and maximize the body’s athletic potential.
In the unfortunate case of an injury, Taylor Creek PT works hard to get you back into the game. While traditional physical therapy is important to your rehab, Taylor Creek therapists will also utilize Postural Restoration therapy to speed recovery, educate the athlete about how proper BIOMECHANICS can prevent further injury and enhance athletic performance.

My golf coach at Northeast Community College referred me to Taylor Creek and they were able to identify that I had some previous head trauma (concussions) that made my right-side dominant issues worse, carrying over into sleeping habits, golf, etc. They taught me how to inhibit my right side and learn to sense my left with specific re-training exercises and by changing how I conduct myself during the day. With golf, I had to stand differently, carry my bag differently, and even change how I was bending over to place the ball on the tee. These were all things I had done so repetitively without ever really giving second thought about how I did them and how they were contributing to my issues. Once I was able to identify and change these habits, I immediately felt more balanced, more aware of my left side, and more in control of the movements in my golf swing. I would highly recommend anybody who is experiencing similar issues to consult Taylor Creek and ask how they can help you. They are unique and have really changed my life!"
